Dedicated transfer desks are located at Terminals 1, 2 and 3 of Dubai International. Passengers must collect their boarding passes from the respective transfer desks before proceeding with their journey.

Flight Connections

Terminal 1 of Dubai International features five conveniently located transfer desks to help passengers make their way to their next flight. These desks are clearly designated as follows - A & B for Emirates Airline passengers, C & D for passengers of other airlines and E, located on the lower level, for passengers travelling from Terminal 2.

Emirates Terminal 3 has three dedicated transfer desks alphabetically marked G, H & J.

Transfer passenger amenities

Dubai International offers a non-smoking environment, however, there are enclosed, ventilated smoking rooms located in Concourse C. Separate prayer rooms are also available for ladies and gentlemen. Restrooms can be found in the vicinity of every transfer desk. Wi-Fi Internet access is available free of charge throughout the airport. All three terminals provide a wide choice of local, continental and fast food restaurants and Duty Free shops.

Dubai International Hotel

If you are craving rest and relaxation between flights, take advantage of the comfortable rooms and luxurious amenities offer at the Dubai International Hotel. With 78 deluxe 5 star rooms, 6 junior suites, 2 royal suites, Dubai International Hotel is located on the third level of the Sheikh Rashid Terminal and offers a fantastic view of the runway and the Dubai Duty Free.

Business centres

If work just can’t wait, passengers have a choice to two business centres within the Concourse. Global Link, near Gate C16 on the Departures Level, provides passengers with 6 ISD booths, workstations with Internet connections, fax services and secretarial service round the clock.

Our Connect Business Centre offers five meeting rooms accommodating between 6 and 18 persons each, 1 conference room for 60 persons and state-of-the-art communication systems, 8 work stations and full secretarial and office services support facilities. G-Force, Health Club

Dubai International caters to fitness buffs as well! Passengers can use the swimming pool, Jacuzzi and gymnasium on an hourly basis. Massage services are also available. For more information call +971 4 2164257.


Open 24 hours the currency exchanges are located near Gates C8, C18 and C22.


Passengers have the option of 25 food and drink outlets at Dubai International. From fast food to speciality cuisine to an Irish pub, passengers are spoiled for choice. The Food Court is located on the Departures Level between Gates C13 and C15. Restaurants such McDonalds, Round Table Pizza, Le Matin Francais, Bistro (Lebanese), Jashan (Indian) and Tansu Kitchen (Chinese and Mongolian barbeque) can be found in the food court.

The Irish Village: which serves typical Irish fare is located next to Gate C23.

Safar: The main restaurant in Terminal 1, Safar is divided into three sections- the bar, called Pint 19, the Buffet area and the a la carte restaurant with an open kitchen offering international cuisine.

Cafes: Starbucks the international coffee house chain is situated near Gate C1.

Internet services

Besides Global Link (Gate C16) and Connect, (see Dubai International Hotel) internet services are also available in the form of touch screen kiosks which can be operated either those who have an Etisalat internet account or by swiping a credit card. The internet kiosks are positioned opposite the First Class Lounge (Gate C9) and the Irish Village (Gate C23).
