Dubai Cargo Village has received further recognition of international bodies by receiving three industry awards. Dubai Cargo Village was voted ‘Best Cargo Airport in the World’ by Air Cargo News London, ‘Best Air Cargo in the Middle East’ by Cargo News Asia and ‘Best Air Cargo in the Middle East and Asia’ by Air Cargo World USA.

Commenting on Dubai Cargo Village’s triple whammy, Paul Griffiths, CEO of Dubai Airports said that these awards are a testimony to the Cargo Village’s reigning position in the Worldwide Trade and Cargo industry and are proof of the establishment’s capabilities, offerings and sophisticated build.  He added, “This recognition shows that we are heading in the right direction in terms of customer service. This further fuels our sense of over-achievement and increases the necessity to continue providing the most sophisticated services in Air Freight through Dubai International.”  

On the same note, Ali Al Jallaf, Vice President of Dubai Cargo Village has stated that this recognition reflects the importance of Dubai and Dubai International for global trade. Al Jallaf said, “Awards just push us to work harder and raise our own bar. The objective is to sustain this recognition and continue the success story. Improving our services and increasing our efficiency to our partners and customers is the next milestone and the next period will show remarkable growth for the Cargo Village.” 

Speaking about the recent expansion of the Dubai Cargo Village, Abdullah Bin Khediya, Head of Cargo Services said, “The expansion project that included increasing the capacity to more than 2.5 million tons per year has been implemented on a basis of superior quality and services. We look forward to further recognition from our partners and customers.”
