Dubai Airports will start from October 14, the phased transition of operations to Emirates Terminal 3 at Dubai International – the new facility dedicated to Emirates Airline, with flights to the Arabian Gulf Cooperation Council countries (AGCC) and the Americas.
Beginning with a flight to Doha, Qatar at 1415 hours on Tuesday, Terminal 3 will, during the first phase, facilitate Emirates’ flights to Oman, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, and Kuwait, as well as to New York and Houston in the US, Toronto in Canada, and Sao Paulo, Brazil. Flights to destinations in the Middle East and Africa will also depart from Terminal 3 in the later stage of the first phase.
The full transition of operations to Emirates Terminal 3 will be carried out in four phases. Closely coordinated between Dubai Airports and Emirates, the phased opening of the terminal is aimed at bringing the facility online gradually to ensure the convenience and comfort of customers.
Dubai Airports and Emirates are carrying out awareness campaigns urging customers to check from which terminal they are flying in advance. Customers are advised to confirm their departure terminal by checking their flight bookings and tickets; alternatively they can call 04-214 44 44 or visit www.emirates.com.
