Visa Services
If you need to collect your original visa permit before entering the UAE, you can do so at the specially designated desks located just before the escalators that take you to Passport Control.
Passport Control

Show your valid passport or travel document and visa at one of more than 40 Passport Control desks. You don’t need to fill out an embarkation card if your visa has been issued in Dubai.

Nationals from 33 countries are exempt from visa application.

Dubai International is one of the first airports to offer e-gates for faster processing of immigration formalities.

 
Duty Free
Offering the world's best brands, the duty free facility in the Baggage Hall is ideal for the last-minute present or chance to stock up with cosmetics, perfumes, alcohol and cigarettes.  See your concessions below.  
Baggage Services
Your checked in baggage is tagged by our special Baggage Reconciliation System which tracks each piece of baggage from check-in to loading. All bags pass through bar-code scanners and the system stores all information about the location of the baggage, making retrieval - whenever necessary - much faster.

Hotel Reservations
Book your hotel or tour package at the Central Reservations Centre in the Arrivals Hall, which also features dedicated desks for hotel groups.  
Tourist Information
The Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM) desk in the Arrivals Hall provides advice, city maps and information on sightseeing tours, etc.  
Mobile Phone Connection
A dedicated lounge for unaccompanied minors and passengers with special needs is available in the Arrivals Hall. Those waiting to receive such passengers can do so here. Airline staff or ground handling staff will bring the arriving passengers to this lounge.    
Currency Exchange
Convert your cash at the currency exchange outlets in the Arrivals Hall    
Getting there and around
  • Metered taxis are available 24 hours a day outside Terminals 1, 2 and 3.
  • The airport shuttle bus runs between the terminals.
  • The city bus service stops outside the each terminal.

  • Dubai International Airport Buses provide custom-built, air-conditioned buses with ample baggage hold. The buses, for both residents and tourists, serve the most popular corridors in the city centre with over 80 hotels and furnished apartments within easy walking distance.
