Owned by the Dubai Department of Civil Aviation and adjacent to Dubai International Airport, Dubai Cargo gateway is centrally located and very well connected. Ever since its founding in 1991, it has kept pace with the challenges of Dubai’s economic boom by evolving to meet market needs and new requirements.
Twenty freighters a day and a 90-minute turnaround for a fully laden 747 are testament to DCG’s state-of-the-art handling facilities. By 2008, with the completion of DCG’s brand new Mega Cargo Terminal, total handling capacity will amount to 2.7 million tonnes of cargo per year.
DCG is the Middle East’s first cargo handling facility to be awarded an ISO 9002 certificate by Lloyd's Register of Quality Assurance in 1998.
